Meet The Team
Cari, Patient Care Coordinator
Hi! My name is Cari. I am the Office Manager and have worked for Caputo Dental since February of 2003. Some of my responsibilities include front desk operations, answering phones, scheduling appointments, conducting financial arrangements, filing insurance claims, and many “behind the scenes” tasks. I love what I do here and enjoy working with a great team!
One of my greatest rewards is building relationships with our guests and helping them achieve and maintain their dental health. Knowing that our guests leave our office with quality dental work is very satisfying.
My husband and I love Chicago and attend as many Cubs and Bears games as possible. I love to travel and strive to visit my family in Florida whenever I have free time. I love the white sand beaches of Siesta Key, and if I’m lucky, you can find me there every 4th of July celebrating with my family.
Donna, Registered Dental Hygienist
Hi! My name is Donna. I am one of the Registered Dental Hygienists who works at Caputo Dental. I have been with the practice since I moved to Naperville in the fall of 2003. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from Loyola University in Chicago and have been an RDH for almost 25 years. My career history in the dental field has included substituting as a Clinical Instructor at Prairie State, attending continuing education courses, and following online study groups and blogs to keep current with the most recent technology. Most recently, our hygiene team completed dental laser certification.
I enjoy guiding patients toward optimal oral health. It has become increasingly evident that the mouth and body are connected. Good oral health improves the whole body’s health, particularly in patients with diabetes and heart disease. I educate patients about nutritional choices, effective plaque removal techniques, fluoride supplementation, and appropriate intervals for periodontal maintenance. Seeing someone turn their oral health around with small changes is very satisfying.
You may see me around outside the office. I live just down the street in Penncross Knoll and have three very active sons in sports and music. I usually run to the soccer field, track, or music program when I leave the office. If you wonder who the lady smiling and waving to you is, it might be me! Besides the boys’ activities, we enjoy traveling, skiing, hiking, music, and spending time with friends and family as a family.
Christine, Dental Assistant
My name is Christine. I’ve been in the dental field for ten years and have worked with Caputo Dental for three. I enjoy working here and helping patients achieve and maintain their perfect smile.
I stay abreast of current technology by attending continuing education courses, including placing dental sealants and coronal polish for children’s teeth. One of my biggest accomplishments was when I participated in our mission trips to El Salvador to help those less fortunate.
Robin, Patient Care Coordinator
Hi! My name is Robin. I have been a Patient Care Coordinator with Caputo Dental since August 2018. Some of my responsibilities include front desk operations, answering phones, scheduling appointments, conducting financial arrangements, filing insurance claims, and many other duties. There is always something new to learn. I enjoy what I do and love working with such a passionate team.
My husband and I are empty nesters. We love living in the Chicagoland area and enjoy going into the city every chance we get. There is always something fun to do.
Dawn, Patient Care Coordinator
Hello, my name is Dawn, and I am a Patient Care Coordinator here at Caputo Dental. I am pretty new to the world of dentistry and I am excited about all the new things I am learning daily. Some of my daily responsibilities are handling front desk operations, answering phones, scheduling appointments, handling insurance claims, financial arrangements, and many other duties. The team here is wonderful, and I am happy to be part of it.
Cheryl, Registered Dental Hygienist
Hello, my name is Cheryl. I grew up locally in Aurora and currently reside in Oswego, IL. I attended Parkland College in Champaign, IL, and received an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science of Dental Hygiene in 1998. I continue to attend continuing education classes and receive certifications in the most current technology and techniques in the dental field. My focus is to give comprehensive and quality care, pain free, and I strive to build a lasting relationship with my patients so I can provide support in nutrition and health of all ages.
Outside work, you may find me at a hockey rink cheering on my two boys. My husband and I enjoy home projects and traveling to the beaches of Florida!
Angelina, Registered Dental Hygienist
My name is Angelina. I completed the dental hygiene program at Prairie State College in 2019, and since then, I have been a part of the Caputo Dental team. I am certified in CPR/AED, local anesthesia, and nitrous oxide. I take pleasure in educating my patients about the connection between oral health and overall health, and I prioritize ensuring that they feel relaxed and comfortable during their cleanings. When I’m not busy making smiles shine, I enjoy baking bread and spending quality time with my husband, daughter, and dog, Moxie.
Julie, Registered Dental Hygienist
Hi, my name is Julie, and I am one of our dental hygienists. I attended Triton College and Missouri College, earning my Associate’s Degree in Applied Science of Dental Hygiene in 2014. I worked in mobile dentistry in Missouri and pediatric dentistry for almost ten years. I now enjoy working in an office that allows me to see both adults and children so I can use my many specialized skills. Dentistry requires a lot of compassion and attention to detail; both are my job’s best parts. I enjoy putting my patients at ease even when they feel nervous while conducting a thorough yet comfortable cleaning. Whether our patient saw us six months ago or it has been several years, I am just happy they have come to see us and allow our team to take care of their oral health. Several times a year, I take continuing education courses to stay up-to-date on current technology and scientific findings in the health field.
When I am out of the office, I spend time with my husband and daughter or enjoy one of my many hobbies. I have always been crafty, sewing outfits, cross-stitching, and painting. I also enjoy my many animals, including dogs, cats, and chickens.
